Pellet therapy has been used in Europe and USA for decades, and has only recently made its way to Canada.
It involves the surgical insertion of hormone pellets under the skin, which is performed as a sterile procedure in the office. These pellets remain in the area for 4-6 months, and slowly release testosterone and/or estradiol, in relation to blood flow through across the pellets.
